These children's gravestones feature a distinctive heartmouth skull that was a trademark of carver Jacob Vinal, Jr. (1691–1770). The cemetery has three of his 13 known heartmouth gravestones, and more are found in Scituate and Hingham.

Ezekiel, John, and Lydia were children born to James Stetson (Stutson] (b. 1690) and Margaret Oakes. Evidence suggests that Margaret (Haugh) Oakes was first married to Reverend Josiah Oakes who died on January 20, 1732. After she became a widow, she married her second husband, James Stetson around 1733. This may explain the location of this group of graves near the Oakes (OS6) plot. There is no record of James or Margaret’s marriage or deaths.
