Industry
Tower was a farmer and selectman in the Second Precinct in 1699. He married Margaret Tower, who has the oldest gravesite in the cemetery. He’s noted for his and his father's stronghold against the Indians during King Philip's War. His cellar and well on King Street can be traced back to that time period. The well is there but was filled in for safety.
