Walking Tour Path

  1. The walking tour begins half way down Joy Place at Central Ave. The first stop is #1 David Bates. At each stop is a sign with a quick response (QR) code. Scan the code with your smartphone to get a greater description about each person and their life.
  2. After Stop #1, continue down Central Ave visiting other sites. At #11 Abraham Tower you will turn back and visit stops around the hilltop through #28. Head down the hill and then towards Ash Way, then up Cedar Way towards North Main Street visiting other stops.
  3. After visiting #39, you will return to Joy Place and walk to the road entrance on Terrace Avenue. Here you turn left on Westerly Ave and walk along the seawall on Seaside Ave.
  4. Eventually, you will make your way to Terrace Ave and up Central Ave again. Follow the stops up the hillside to the St. John Celtic Cross, completing your tour.
